February Wrap Up/ Haul/ March TBR

I am extremely disappointed because I had an extremely sad reading month last month and I hope that this month will be better since I will be going on spring break very soon. In February I only read one book which was the only book I bought during the month which was:

  • Very Good Lives: The Fringe Benefits of Failure and the Importance of Imagination by J.K. Rowling

In March I plan to read a lot more because I will be going on spring break, my last class is on Friday and I am extremely excited to read…

  • Something In Between by Melissa De La Cruz
  • Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh
  • Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige

I really hope that I can get more reading done this month, and since I am posting this a few days into this month I have already read one book, but it wasn’t on this month’s tbr, so I’ll include it when I do my March wrap up.

Have an ALMIGHTY Day!

February Wrap Up/ Haul/ March TBR

I’m so incredibly disappointed that I did such little reading in February. I’m not able to get much reading done because I have so much schoolwork and readings to do that the only time I have to read is for stuff for my classes. Also when I had time to read, I just really had no desire to pick up book so I guess that means I’m in a bit of a reading slump. I really hope that next month I’ll be able to read more. In February I ended up reading…

  • A Walk to Remember by: Nicholas Sparks

This year so far I’m also doing pretty well with controlling myself when it comes to buying books. I really want to shrink down my TBR pile and that isn’t really possible if I’m buying a ton of books especially since I’m not reading much. In February I ended up buying…

  • Crooked Kingdom by: Leigh Bardugo
  • Illuminae by: Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
  • Gemina by: Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
  • Caraval by: Stephanie Garber
  • Another Day by: David Levithan

In March I’m really hoping to read more but I don’t know if that will be possible because I’ll be dealing with midterms but I’ll also be on Spring Break so I’m really hoping that I don’t have work to do during that time so that I can focus on reading. In March I plan on reading…

  • Illuminae by: Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
  • Gemina by: Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
  • Six of Crows by: Leigh Bardugo

Have an ALMIGHTY Day!

January Wrap Up/ Haul/ February TBR

I’m kind of sad and happy at the same time because I ended up finished the Throne of Glass series this month. I’m sad because I have to wait until September to read the final book because I just don’t want it to end but I’m excited to see what’s going to happen next. In January I ended up reading…

  • Queen of Shadows by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Empire of Storms by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Between Shades of Gray by: Ruta Sepetys
  • Milk and Honey by: Rupi Kaur

In January I really tried controlling myself and I didn’t buy that many books. I’m proud of myself because I only got three books which is strange for me because on average I get about ten books or more a month. I ended up getting…

  • The Diabolic by: S.J. Kincaid
  • Two by Two by: Nicholas Sparks
  • Milk and Honey by: Rupi Kaur

In February I don’t know how much I’ll be able to read because I just started school again and I’ll be having work and assignments to do for my classes but I hope to end up reading…

  • A Walk to Remember by: Nicholas Sparks (re-read)
  • Something In Between by: Melissa De La Cruz
  • Heartless by: Marissa Meyer
  • Out of the Easy by: Ruta Sepetys

Have an ALMIGHTY Day!

December Wrap Up/Haul & January TBR

Since finishing my first semester of college I’ve been able to read a whole lot more. I was really looking forward to this month for many reasons: a break from the torture that is school work, all the reading time I want, and I get to sleep in for as long as I want and not have to worry about being late. In December I ended up reading…

  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
  • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
  • The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas

This month I have been making a lot of purchases, but it’s the holidays so who can blame me. 😅 This month I only bought three books, the rest of the bookish purchases I made were Funko Pops. I’m trying to collect all of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Pops, so when they go on sale I just can’t resist. The books I bought in December were…

  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Screenplay by J.K. Rowling
  • The Case of the Beasts: Explore the Wizardry of Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them by Mark Salisbury
  • Lady Midnight (Limited Edition) by Cassandra Clare

I was also gifted books by the co-owner (Melissa), those books were:

  • Trial by Fire by: Josephine Angelini
  • Firewalker by: Josephine Angelini
  • The Shadowhunter’s Codex by Cassandra Clare and Joshua Lewis

Since we’re in the middle of a Throne of Glass marathon I will be continuing to read the series into the new year. So in January I will be reading…

  • Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas
  • Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
  • Replica by Lauren Oliver

December Wrap Up/ Haul & January TBR

December was a very exciting reading month for me because I was finally able to start reading the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I finished my first semester of college so now I have time to read before I have to start school again next month. These are the books I read in December…

  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream by: William Shakespeare
  • Throne of Glass by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Crown of Midnight by: Sarah J. Maas
  • The Assassin’s Blade by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Heir of Fire by: Sarah J. Maas

In December I did try to control myself by not getting too many books but that didn’t really happen. Three of the books I got were given to me, one I got for free, and the ones I did buy were really cheap. Also there was a bit of an issue with BookOutlet and I ended up receiving the same order of books I made twice so I did give two of them to Wilmarilys but she already had a copy of Gathering Darkness so I didn’t give her that one. By the way, I also did end up getting 7 funko pops. Anyway, in December I ended up getting…

  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Screenplay by: J.K. Rowling (gifted to my by my sister)
  • Hidden by: P.C. Cast + Kristin Cast
  • Gathering Darkness by: Morgan Rhodes (2 copies)
  • Trial by Fire by: Josephine Angelini
  • Firewalker by: Josephine Angelini
  • A Monster Calls: The Art and Vision Behind the Film by: Desirée De Fez (sent to me)
  • Outlander by: Diana Gabaldon (gifted to me by Wilmarilys) (hardcover)
  • Outlander by: Diana Gabaldon (mass-market paperback)
  • Lady Midnight by: Cassandra Clare (limited edition)
  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Newt Scamander: A Movie Scrapbook by: Rick Barba

In January I plan on finishing the Throne of Glass series and maybe a few other books so I’ll be reading…

  • Queen of Shadows by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Empire of Storms by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Three Dark Crowns by: Kendare Blake

October Wrap Up/ Haul/ November TBR

October was a very bad reading month for me. I literally have like no time to read because of school and I probably won’t have a very good reading month for November. The two books I did manage to read in October were…

  • The Perfect Protein by: Andy Sharpless
  • Yes Please by: Amy Poehler

While I didn’t read a lot of books in October, I definitely bought a lot of books but a lot of them I got for cheap and I had coupons for quite a few of them as well. I also did buy some books that I already own a copy of. The books I bought in October were…

  • Throne of Glass by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Crown of Midnight by: Sarah J. Maas
  • Heir of Fire by: Sarah J. Maas
  • The Bane Chronicles by: Cassandra Clare
  • Yes Please by: Amy Poehler

  • Three Dark Crowns by: Kendare Blake

October Wrap Up/ Haul & November TBR

October was not one of the best reading months I have had this year. I only read three books this month, which I am extremely sad about. School has really taken up most of my time and when I do have time I’m too tired to read (I know like how dare I say that, but I can’t help it) so I watch Netflix and catch up on some shows. This month I read:

  • Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy
  • Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
  • The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novel by Stephenie Meyer

I didn’t read so much this month, but I might have gotten a few books. I justify all twelve of my purchases because of the book signing we both went to at the beginning of the month and the Throne of Glass reading marathon we’re going to be doing during our winter break. In October I bought:

  • Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
  • Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
  • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
  • Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas

I bought The Uglies Series (Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras) by Scott Westerfeld signed because he was at the Barnes & Noble that I went to for the signing a few days before I went.

I bought these books especially for the Teen Panel:

  • Something In Between by Melissa de la Cruz
  • Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige
  • Yellow Brick War by Danielle Paige
  • Replica by Lauren Oliver

I know that I’ll probably have another slow reading month but, my TBR for November:

  • The F- It List by Julie Halpern
  • Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
  • The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton

Have an ALMIGHTY Day!
