Recently I finished reading Yes Please by: Amy Poehler and I definitely recommend whether you’re a fan of hers or not. I like Amy Poehler and I think that she’s funny but it’s not like I’m a major fan of hers but I had been wanting to get her book because I heard good things about it so when I saw that it was in the bargain section at Barnes and Nobles, I decided to pick it up and I’m happy that I did. I thought that the book was a fun read and I liked reading about her life and she ended becoming famous as well as her struggles with comedy until she ended up being on SNL. I thought that the book was funny and although she does talk about some serious times in her life, like her divorce and her having used drugs before, she writes about it in a light hearted way which I found very enjoyable. I learned things about her that I had no idea about and I loved reading about her friendship with Tina Fey because I think that they’re brilliant together. I usually don’t read a lot of nonfiction or autobiographies but I feel like I really should start reading more of those kinds of books. Overall I thought it was a good read and now I definitely want to read Tina Fey’s book Bossypants.
Have an ALMIGHTY Day!
